Today's Albany Times Union has an interesting story about a sitting DA (Saratoga County) who is running for a county judgeship. The article discusses the situation that he "
faces restrictions on what he can and cannot do, as do all candidates for judicial positions in New York state" but that he still is active on Twitter.
James A. Murphy III states:
"Updates on my family activities or events going on or cases that are pending in the DA's office that are relating to my role as DA, I think are completely fair and appropriate," Murphy told Law Beat. "I will put an additional lens on those now with the care of a judicial candidate as well."
