Warning: Security Flaw in Microsoft's Internet Explorer

The Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team released an advisory this past Monday stating that a vulnerability exists in all versions of Internet Explorer that could cause “the complete compromise” of your computer. Since many of these versions are part of Windows XP, there is no patch coming due to Microsoft ending support of the XP operating system earlier this month.

One of the Tech websites I follow is ZDnet, who titled their article: Governments urge Internet Explorer users to switch browsers until fix found. Their summary of the problem includes the advice "Switch to Chrome or Firefox until Microsoft fixes the security flaw affecting all versions of Internet Explorer." Even Microsoft has recommended that users "consider employing an alternate browser".
