Welcome Back to School
The New York State Bar Association welcomes you back to another semester of law school. For some, this may be your first semester; for others, this may be the beginning of your final year. To all, we wish you much success in the months ahead. To help you through your law school journey, the New York State Bar Association created Pathway to the Profession. Through this program we partner with law schools throughout New York to offer programming and free membership to New York State Law Students. In addition, we offer many resources to assist you, not just through law school, but through your entire career as a lawyer.
So far this semester we have a variety of programs scheduled:
- September 10, 2015 - How to Jump-start Your Legal Career and Stay Competitive, Baker & McKenzie; NY, NY
- September 17, 2015 - Everything You've Always Wanted to Know About Clerking...But Were Afraid to Ask (Touro and Hofstra Law Schools)
- September 24, 2015 - Dinner with a Lawyer, Pace Law School
- October 8, 2015 - Dinner with a Lawyer, Albany Law School
- October 14, 2015 - Dinner with a Lawyer, Hofstra Law School
- October 15, 2015 - Demystifying the Bar Exam (more details coming soon)
- November 3, 2015 - Meet the Sections, Touro Law School
- November 10, 2015 - Practice Area Forum - New York Law School
